Elizabeth House

Elizabeth House, in Staffordshire, is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 35 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of the CQC's assessment, 16 people were using the service, which is rated Requires Improvement overall.

Inspectors found notable progress since the previous inspection, with better medicines management, improved décor and a more person-focused culture under the registered manager. However, the provider remained in breach of regulations around good governance, with oversight and responsiveness to concerns still inconsistent, care plans not always up to date, and some environmental risks unresolved.
