Elizabeth House

Elizabeth House is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 35 older people and people living with dementia across an adapted building. At the time of inspection, 20 people were living at the home.

Inspectors identified significant concerns about the safety of the environment. Infection prevention control measures, maintenance of the building, and equipment storage were not being managed effectively. Governance and quality monitoring processes failed to adequately oversee environmental conditions and risk management. The registered manager was simultaneously registered at another care home under a different provider, raising concerns about their capacity to effectively oversee both services.
