Edward House

Edward House accommodates up to 12 younger adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder across the main house and four separate flats in the grounds. The service has implemented effective systems to manage risks including behaviour support, epilepsy management, and choking protocols, with detailed support plans and emergency procedures guiding staff. Medicines are administered safely and prescribed correctly, with sufficient staffing levels to meet residents' needs.

Safeguarding systems and infection control measures protect people, staff and visitors. The leadership team has strengthened the service's culture and quality through new management structures, with staff speaking positively about the new registered manager. The manager and locality manager have engaged with families to gather feedback and are implementing suggested improvements. The provider's monitoring systems continue to develop to ensure all quality concerns are identified and addressed effectively.
