The inspection focused on a five-bedded wing with a separate entrance that was unoccupied at the time of the inspection. The home has established clear plans and policies to keep people safe within the wing. The separate entrance allows staff to arrive at work and follow infection control procedures, including donning and doffing, before entering via a key code system without accessing the main premises. A dedicated staff team has been assigned exclusively to work in the wing, including domestic staff.
