Eden Manor Care Home

Eden Manor Care Home, in Cumberland, provides accommodation and personal care for up to 80 older people, including some living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, 68 people lived there and the CQC rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found effective safeguarding and risk management, a clean, well-maintained environment, and care based on thorough, person-centred assessments. Minor shortfalls in medicines management were identified and promptly addressed. Feedback from people and relatives was largely positive, describing kind staff, good activities and effective leadership focused on continuous improvement.
