Creative Support - The Laurels (Cumbria)

The Laurels in Cumbria provides accommodation for up to 29 residents, some living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 18 people lived at the home. Staff maintained good hygiene practices, using appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring sufficient supplies were stored safely. Dedicated areas were provided for staff to put on, remove and dispose of PPE properly.

Staff supported residents' social and emotional wellbeing, with additional support provided where needed. The home demonstrated a commitment to maintaining safe practices and creating a supportive environment for vulnerable residents.
