Eastcotts Care Home with Nursing

This care home provides nursing and personal care for up to 59 older people in a rural location near Haverhill in Suffolk. At the time of inspection, 38 people were living there. Relatives and residents were highly complimentary about the care provided, with one family member noting, "I'm very happy with Eastcotts, the way they look after [family member], they really pamper [family member]." Another commented, "Their care and compassion is amazing. I was a nurse, so I know good standards."

Staff understood safeguarding procedures and how to keep people safe, with appropriate training in place. People reported there were sufficient staff to meet their needs, and medicines were managed safely. Staff recruitment was conducted safely, and new employees received comprehensive induction training from the provider.
