About Devonshire House

Devonshire House is a residential care home in Suffolk. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Devonshire House provides accommodation, nursing and personal care for up to 69 people across three units, and was supporting 50 people at the time of the assessment. The home was inspected in response to concerns about medicines management and culture within the home, focusing on the safe and well-led areas.

Inspectors found shortfalls in the safe management of medicines, unsafe outdoor space for people living with dementia, and a culture needing improvement, with governance systems not always effective at spotting problems. People and relatives spoke positively about the care received. The provider was open and responsive to the concerns raised.
