Eastbourne Care Home

This residential home provides nursing and personal care for older people and those living with dementia, accommodating up to 41 residents. During the inspection, 27 people were using the service. The home has implemented comprehensive infection control measures including visitor screening and a designated visiting pod to enable safe contact with loved ones. Staff receive training in infection prevention and control procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Social distancing has been promoted through modifications to communal areas such as dining rooms, and a regular Covid-19 testing programme is in place for both residents and staff members. Safe admission systems are also established at the home.
