Drumconner Lancing

Drumconner Lancing provides nursing and personal care for up to 60 people, supporting older people with clinical nursing needs, physical disabilities, dementia and, in some cases, learning disabilities. The home was previously rated inadequate and in special measures, with breaches relating to safeguarding, staffing, dignity and governance. Following a follow-up assessment, the CQC found sustained improvements and rated the service Good overall, no longer in breach of any regulations.

Inspectors found care plans were person-centred, risks properly managed, and staffing levels safe. People and relatives praised warm, attentive staff and a well-led, inclusive management team. Feedback described the home as comfortable, clean and welcoming, with good access to activities and community life.
