About Drakelow House Residential Home

Drakelow House provides residential care for up to 18 people aged 65 and over, with 14 residents at the time of inspection. People felt safe and were supported by staff trained to identify and report safeguarding concerns. Although staffing levels were minimal during the inspection, this did not negatively affect the quality of care provided.

Residents received safe support with their medicines and had their healthcare needs carefully monitored, with access to appropriate support from various healthcare professionals.

People with specialist dietary needs received tailored support, and staff helped residents maintain maximum choice and control in their daily lives, supporting them in the least restrictive ways possible.
