Downhurst Residential Home Limited

Downhurst provides care for up to 26 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 21 residents were living at the service, which is managed by Ealing Eventide Homes Limited, a charitable organisation.

Inspectors found significant concerns with medicines management. Medicines were not always administered as prescribed and records did not consistently reflect what residents had received. While incidents and accidents were being recorded, the home was not consistently documenting lessons learned to prevent future occurrences. The provider's safeguarding procedures were not always being followed, and quality assurance processes were not robust enough to identify where improvements were needed.
