Downhurst Residential Home Limited

Downhurst Residential Home is a residential care home for up to 25 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of the CQC's assessment, 17 people were living there. Inspectors found the service had improved from requires improvement to good, with no breaches of regulations identified.

People and relatives spoke positively about the care, describing staff as friendly and attentive. The CQC found medicines were managed safely, staff were properly recruited and trained, risks were well monitored, and the home was clean, comfortable and personalised to residents' preferences.
