Dovecote Residential Care Home

Dovecote Residential and Nursing Home accommodates up to 61 people aged 18 and over, including those living with dementia. At inspection there were 37 people using the service, who received personal and nursing care.

Staff did not consistently follow people's care plans or support them in line with their assessed needs. Professional visitors described instances where staff had not responded to people in a timely manner. Care plans were not consistently person-centred and lacked necessary information to guide support, requiring review.

Staffing levels and high use of agency staff had a negative impact on people. Relatives raised concerns about the adequacy of staffing and continuity of care.
