Dovecote Residential Care Home

Dovecote Residential Care Home provides personal care and accommodation for up to 61 older people, including those with physical health conditions or dementia. At the time of the assessment, 45 people lived there. The CQC found the home was performing well and rated it Good overall, noting that previous breaches around person-centred care, medicines, infection control, staffing and management oversight had all been resolved.

Inspectors found staff followed good dementia care practice, ran engaging activities and supported people to eat well. People and relatives spoke warmly of the care, describing staff as attentive, kind and responsive to individual choices. People felt safe, respected and confident that concerns raised would be acted upon.
