Douglas Court

Douglas Court accommodates up to 43 people in a two-story building with lounges, dining rooms and a conservatory. At the time of inspection, 36 people were living at the service. The home demonstrated strong infection control practices, including automated temperature screening for all visitors and staff upon entry using thermal cameras. People using the service had their temperatures checked and recorded twice daily. The provider had installed PPE stations throughout the building, including an automatic hand sanitising station in reception, and staff wore appropriate PPE in accordance with government guidance.
