St Josephs

St Josephs provides accommodation, personal and nursing care for up to 60 older people, including those living with dementia. At the time of the CQC's visit, 55 people were living at the home under a registered manager, and the service was rated Good overall.

Inspectors found safely recruited, well-trained staff, well-managed medicines and a friendly, open culture where people and relatives felt confident raising concerns. Some improvements were needed, including tired décor, mixed feedback on staffing levels, more person-centred care and stronger auditing systems, though the manager was responsive and committed to progress.
