Defoe Court

Defoe Court is a care home for 41 people requiring nursing or personal care, accommodating some residents living with dementia across two floors. The home is situated in its own grounds with an enclosed garden area. At the time of inspection, 40 people were using the service.

Staff, contractors and visitors consistently used appropriate personal protective equipment, with the home maintaining sufficient supplies stored hygienically. Alcohol gel stations were accessible throughout the home, and designated hand washing stations were available for staff. All staff followed national guidance on safely putting on, taking off and disposing of PPE.
