Bethany House Care Home

Bethany House is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care for up to 31 older people, some of whom are living with dementia. The service operates across two floors in one large building. At inspection, people reported being happy, describing the home as "home from home here, nice and friendly." Staff are skilled and knowledgeable in providing care and support, and medicines systems are well organised with people receiving their medication when they should. The home follows national guidance for the receipt, storage, administration and disposal of medicines, though minor improvements were identified in records for controlled drugs and food supplements. A recruitment system is in place, though some long-term staff require their DBS certificates renewing.
