Dearnlea Park Residential Care Home

Dearnlea Park provides accommodation and personal care for up to 67 older adults and younger people, including those living with dementia or experiencing mental health issues, across two floors of a purpose-built building. At inspection, 41 people were residing at the service.

Inspectors identified significant concerns with medicines management, finding staff lacked competency in this area and there was insufficient guidance on safe administration. People's care records did not accurately reflect their needs, and risk assessments were incomplete with limited staff guidance on risk management. The service lacked effective systems to monitor and improve practice.
