Daneside Mews

Daneside Mews is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 34 older people in a purpose-built building. At inspection, 33 people were using the service. Staff have strengthened systems for reporting allegations of abuse, and medication is safely managed. Risk assessments relating to people's health conditions and the environment are up to date, and equipment is regularly serviced and safe. Relatives confirmed their family members felt safe at the home.

People appear relaxed and comfortable with staff. Those using the service expressed happiness with the support they receive, and relatives were satisfied with the care provided. The home has been recommended to review how relatives can be involved in their relations' care.
