Dalkeith

Dalkeith is a residential care home in Gloucestershire providing accommodation and personal care for up to 20 people, including respite stays. Inspectors found some care plans were inaccurate, medicines were not always managed safely, and oversight systems failed to identify these problems or drive improvement.

On a more positive note, staff were found to be kind, attentive and consistent, and people spoke warmly of their care. Residents and relatives said they felt well supported and confident to raise concerns. Inspectors also found good practice around nutrition, informed consent and working with outside professionals.
