Staff administer medicines as prescribed with accurate record-keeping, though topical and liquid treatments were not consistently marked with opening dates. Staffing levels are adequate and safeguarding systems are in place to protect residents from abuse. Environmental and individual risks are assessed with appropriate control measures implemented. The service would benefit from additional orientation aids to help people with dementia navigate the building more effectively.
