The home had implemented strong infection control measures, including screening visitors for COVID-19 before entry and requiring them to wear appropriate PPE and wash their hands in a designated area. Only essential visits were permitted at the time of inspection. Staff and residents were supported with social distancing measures, including spaced seating in communal areas and staggered staff break times, with appropriate signage in place to limit gatherings.
