Crest House Care Home

Crest House Care Home provides residential care and personal care to up to 21 older people, with 14 people using the service at the time of inspection. The home has a caring, person-centred culture reflected across the staff team. Care plans are written in partnership with people and tailored to individual needs. Staff are safely recruited and trained to support residents' assessed requirements.

Quality assurance systems require improvement, particularly audits relating to the environment and medicines management. The provider needs to strengthen oversight of quality assurance processes to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively. People, relatives and staff reported being given regular opportunities to provide feedback and felt listened to by management. Health professionals spoke positively about partnership working with staff, and residents and their families were positive about their experience of the support provided.
