Streatfeild House

Streatfeild House provides personal care and support for up to 22 older people living with a learning disability and/or autism. At the time of inspection, 21 people were living at the home. Staff had been trained to identify risks and raise concerns, with risk assessments completed covering all aspects of residents' lives. The home maintained safe recruitment practices with sufficient staffing to cover all shifts.

Medicines were stored and administered by appropriately trained staff with proper record-keeping. Staff followed infection prevention and control procedures, and accidents and incidents were recorded with trends identified and lessons learned shared among the team. People received the care and support they needed safely.
