Cressington Court Care Home

Cressington Court Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 56 people, some living with dementia, and had 52 people living there at the time of assessment. This was a responsive review prompted by safety concerns, and the CQC has rated the home Inadequate overall, taking enforcement action against the provider.

Inspectors found serious failings, including poor management of people's finances, unsafe medicines practices, and inadequate care records and guidance for health conditions like diabetes. The Mental Capacity Act was not properly followed, and people were not always involved in planning their care. Relatives spoke positively about staff kindness, though some staff did not know residents well.
