Beechside Residential Care Home

This residential care home accommodates up to 36 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 27 residents were living at the home. Safe visiting procedures were implemented to minimise infection spread, with visits restricted to essential visitors including family members of those receiving end of life care. Plans were in place to provide safe facilities for family visits during the COVID-19 outbreak, with shielding and social distancing rules being complied with. The home maintained safe admission procedures and adequate stocks of personal protective equipment and cleaning products.
