Creedy House

Creedy House is a residential care home in Devon providing personal and nursing care for up to 44 people, including older people, some living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and two people with learning disabilities. The CQC rated the service as requiring improvement overall, identifying four breaches relating to risk management, staffing, care and treatment, and governance.

Families and residents spoke positively, describing staff as kind and knowledgeable, though inspectors found risks were not always well assessed, dignity was not always upheld, and staff training gaps remained. Care planning and staffing levels were considered good, but quality monitoring had failed to pick up these issues. Improvements were underway following the assessment.
