About Creda House

Creda House is a residential care home based in Staffordshire, offering a place where individuals can feel at home in a supportive and familiar setting. Families looking into care options in the area will find a service that is focused on getting to know the people it supports as individuals. The team at Creda House works to provide day-to-day care and assistance with a personal touch, with the aim of making life comfortable and meaningful for those who live there.

Creda House provides personal care for people with learning disabilities and autism. At the time of inspection, four people were receiving care and support. Staff knew people well and were responsive to their needs.

However, the provider's quality monitoring processes were not always effective at identifying issues. Medicines were not always managed and stored safely, and the environment lacked personalisation in places, with bare walls and no pictures. Some areas of the service required maintenance and repair, and the physical surroundings did not always reflect people's preferences.
