Creative Support - Bredon Respite Service

This respite care service provides short-term residential support for up to four adults with learning and physical disabilities. The service is located on the ground floor of a local authority building with its own separate entrance. Staff focus on giving people as many opportunities as possible during their stays, supporting them to have control, choice, and independence in their daily lives.

People staying at the service and their relatives gave exceptional feedback about their respite breaks. The service provides individualised care tailored to meet each person's specific needs and requests. There is a friendly atmosphere where people are relaxed and comfortable with staff. The registered manager acknowledged that while the service has lots of good practice in supporting people, the environment could be further developed to reflect current best practice guidance around person-centred care for people with learning disabilities and autism.
