Adel Grange Residential Home

Adel Grange Residential Home is a care home in Leeds providing accommodation and personal care for up to 30 people, including older people with a range of needs. The CQC rated it Requires Improvement, after finding medication was not always managed safely, care plans lacked key information about risks, and fire safety and quality monitoring needed improvement. Inspectors also found some staff could not explain basic safeguarding steps.

Despite this, inspectors found care was person centred, with kind, attentive staff who knew people well and enough staff on duty. People and relatives spoke positively, saying they felt safe and well cared for. Mealtimes, however, were disorganised, with some people waiting a long time for support.
