Cranley Gardens

Cranley Gardens is a residential care home providing personal care to up to 6 people with learning disabilities and/or autism, with a specialism in supporting those with epilepsy. At the time of inspection, the service was at full capacity. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, focusing on people's strengths and what they could do to enable fulfilling and meaningful everyday life. Staff encouraged people to take part in activities and pursue their interests in the local area, supporting them in the least restrictive way possible.

However, inspectors found the environment was not adequately maintained, with worn elements that did not feel inviting. Environmental risk assessments lacked sufficient comprehensiveness, particularly concerning fire safety and security measures.
