Cow Lees Care Home

Cow Lees Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 73 residents, including those with dementia, mental health needs, and physical disabilities. The service is organised across three separate buildings, with one specialising in supporting people who may experience distress or agitation related to cognitive disabilities. At inspection, 69 people were living at the home.

Inspectors identified concerns about how risks to residents' health and wellbeing were being managed, with records not consistently supporting safe practice. Environmental and premises-related risks were not reliably identified and managed. Infection prevention and control practices within the home also raised concerns, with limited implementation of required procedures observed during the inspection.
