Cotswold Cottage provides care and support for up to eight adults with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. At the time of inspection, eight people were living at the home. The service had maintained strong infection control measures throughout the pandemic, including temperature checks for visitors, disinfectant protocols, and mask requirements.
Regular testing was carried out for both staff and residents, and everyone using the service had been fully vaccinated. There had been no positive cases of Covid-19 at the home. Enhanced cleaning practices were in place, and a risk assessment was in place for anyone returning to the home after hospital admission.
