Beech Tree House

Beech Tree House provides personal care for up to eight adults with learning disabilities and autism across two floors. Each resident has their own bedroom and en-suite, with access to shared spaces including a lounge, dining room, sensory room, and activities room, plus a garden area. The service is larger than current best practice guidance for domestic-style properties, and inspectors found that the size and arrangement sometimes impacted the ability to provide truly person-centred care.

Concerns were identified regarding safeguarding systems and the protection of people from abuse. Management of residents' finances was not always robust, leaving people vulnerable to risk. The registered manager had reported recent safeguarding allegations to the local safeguarding authority and taken steps to prevent further occurrences.
