Coppermill Care Centre

Coppermill Care Centre provides personal care to up to 52 older people, including those living with dementia, across two floors. At inspection, 46 people were using the service. Staff spent time with residents, listened to them and met their needs. Relatives reported that people were well cared for and praised both the staff and management team.

The home had systems in place to protect people from avoidable harm, with risks identified, assessed and managed. Accidents and incidents were investigated and reported to the local authority. Medicines were administered safely and as prescribed. Regular safety checks were undertaken, including fire safety and environmental checks, and the home maintained robust procedures for preventing and controlling infection.
