Cloisters Care Home

This residential care home provides personal care to people living with dementia, currently supporting 13 of its 20 registered residents. The service implemented regular COVID-19 testing for people and staff, with daily symptom monitoring and room isolation when needed. Relatives were supported to maintain contact with residents through phone calls and video links. The environment was clean and well-maintained, with established cleaning schedules to prevent cross-infection. Staff demonstrated experience and knowledge of infection control procedures, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and disposing of it safely.
