Clipstone Hall and Lodge is a residential care home accommodating up to 90 people over 65 years of age, some living with dementia. The purpose-built three-storey premises are surrounded by gardens, with 53 residents at the time of inspection.

Medicines are administered safely, though inspectors identified gaps in stock reporting of controlled drugs and incomplete paperwork for prescribed medicines in some care plans. While audits had not previously identified these issues, the manager took immediate action to rectify them during the inspection.
