Cliff Court Care Home

Cliff Court Care Home is a residential care home supporting older people living with dementia. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people were protected from abuse and harm, medicines were managed safely, and staff knew residents well. There were enough suitably recruited and trained staff, and people were supported to access health professionals when needed.

Inspectors found staff to be kind and attentive, respecting people's privacy and dignity, and relatives praised the caring approach and communication with the provider. However, improvements were needed in record keeping, risk management, mental capacity assessments, and ensuring activities were more meaningful to individual residents.
