The Maples

The Maples provides personal care for up to 24 people, with 21 residents at the time of inspection, some living with dementia. The home has implemented strong infection control measures, including a booking system for visits held in a conservatory arranged for social distancing, with alternative arrangements made for those unable to access this space. Individual bedroom isolation was supported with clear signage, and communal furniture was positioned to maintain distancing between residents. Staff consistently wore appropriate personal protective equipment and followed a break rota to maintain distancing requirements. Admissions guidance was being followed appropriately throughout the service.
