Cleveleys Nursing Home

Cleveleys Nursing Home provides care for up to 32 older people, including those living with dementia or physical disabilities. The home is located close to Cleveleys town centre with bedrooms across three floors and a choice of communal lounges and seating areas. At the time of inspection, 24 people were residing at the home.

Inspectors found that records and systems were not sufficiently robust to demonstrate that risk was effectively managed. Staff did not consistently support people to have maximum choice and control of their lives, nor did they support them in the least restrictive way possible. The policies and systems in place did not adequately support these practices.
