Nightingales Nursing Home

Nightingales Nursing Home provides nursing care for up to 55 older people, including those living with dementia or with a physical disability. At the time of the assessment, 50 people were living there. The CQC assessed the service following concerns about unexplained bruising and rated it Good overall.

Inspectors found staff understood safeguarding and knew how to raise concerns, and there were enough suitably skilled staff to meet people's needs. People spoke positively about feeling safe and well cared for, praised the food and choice available, and enjoyed a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. The registered manager had strengthened governance around care plans and the home's cleanliness and upkeep.
