Chypons Residential Home

Chypons provides residential care for up to 27 older people and those with mental health conditions and dementia. At inspection, 25 people were using the service. Staff use an electronic medicines management system with medicines stored securely in lockable cupboards in residents' rooms. People receive their prescribed medicines, though recording of controlled medicines was not always accurate and lacked regular audits to catch errors.

The home maintains adequate staffing levels to meet people's needs and ensure their safety, with two new staff members recently joining the team.
