A cleaning schedule with dedicated domestic staff ensured regular sanitisation of communal areas, and furniture was arranged to support social distancing. The registered manager maintained systems to track testing schedules and kept staff regularly updated on infection control procedures. Individual risk assessments enabled some residents to take supervised community walks with relatives as an alternative to indoor visits, allowing for meaningful contact while maintaining safety precautions.
