Cavendish House

Cavendish House provides care and support to people with high support needs, learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions. At the time of inspection, six people were living in the service. The management team demonstrated strong leadership during the pandemic, working alongside staff to maintain safety protocols. The service had not experienced any Covid-19 outbreak and had not admitted new residents during lockdown, minimizing exposure risks for current residents. Staff had adequate PPE available and used it appropriately, with dedicated spaces established for changing clothes to prevent cross-contamination. The service also provided face masks to staff members' households to reinforce awareness of infection control risks.
