Chilton Meadows Care Home

Chilton Meadows provides accommodation and nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia, across three houses: Beech House, Munnings House and Gainsborough House. At inspection, 66 people were using the service.

The home faced significant staffing challenges, with a high proportion of agency workers who were not always familiar with residents' needs. People and relatives reported difficulties communicating with some agency staff members. Inspectors found that risks to people were not always properly assessed and mitigated, with systems and processes failing to ensure adequate safeguarding in some areas.
