Chestnut Grange provides care and support for up to 10 people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder, with eight people using the service. Despite visiting restrictions, the home kept families fully informed through regular email and phone calls. A sanitising station at the main entrance equipped with appropriate PPE and checklists helped manage safety protocols, with signage in both picture and written formats to guide visitors.

The provider prioritized maintaining contact between residents and relatives by supporting people to use video calling. Staff were actively engaged in ensuring social connections remained strong during the period of enhanced restrictions.
