Chelmunds Court

Chelmunds Court is a purpose-built residential care home supporting up to 73 older people, some with dementia, providing both personal and nursing care. The home is arranged across two floors, with nursing care residents on the first floor and most people with dementia on the ground floor. At inspection, 55 people were using the service.

Recent management changes have brought notable improvements to the home. Staff spoke positively about the new manager's impact and their ability to effectively carry out their responsibilities. While some issues were identified with record-keeping clarity, these had not negatively affected the quality of care provided. People and relatives were positive about their experiences at the home.
