Cepen Lodge

Cepen Lodge provides accommodation and personal care to up to 63 people, including adults with physical disabilities and dementia. The home is arranged over three floors with individual rooms featuring en-suite facilities, communal lounges, dining areas and activity rooms, plus a secure garden. At the time of inspection, 47 people were using the service.

Inspectors found adequate staff during the day to meet people's needs. However, when staffing levels reduced to night shifts, people in the dementia household sometimes experienced intermittent supervision. The home had strengthened its risk management processes, with staff regularly reviewing and updating plans in response to changing needs.
