Bonhomie

Bonhomie provides crisis mental health care and supported living for people with mental ill health, substance misuse issues, and physical disabilities. The home can accommodate up to 19 people and was supporting five at the time of inspection. Staff knew residents well and people felt safe in their care. Medicines were managed safely and prescribed as required. Residents were involved in assessing their needs and planning their care, with accidents, incidents and safeguarding concerns properly reported and investigated. Staff were recruited safely and received training and supervision to develop their skills.

The management team recognised that monitoring and governance systems would need further development and strengthening as the service expands, though current residents were receiving high quality support. People's risks to health and safety were appropriately identified and managed, ensuring their wellbeing was protected.
