Cedar Road

Cedar Road provides personal care for up to nine older people, some living with dementia. The home is housed in one adapted building with en-suite bedrooms, a communal seating and dining area, and a training kitchen designed for wheelchair access. At the time of inspection, seven people were living at the home.

The home is staffed by five or six staff members during day shifts, including a senior care worker, care workers, and the registered manager. Night shifts are covered by two staff with management on-call as required. Staff use handover notes to record contact and support provided to residents, ensuring that incoming staff have up to date information about the care and support each person receives.
