Castle Park

Castle Park provides personal and nursing care for up to 27 people with learning disabilities, autism, or physical disabilities. At inspection, 19 people were living at the service. The home had implemented comprehensive infection control measures including sanitising stations, temperature checks, and PPE protocols for visitors. A meet and greet policy ensured proper safety procedures were followed upon entry, with visitors escorted to hand wash stations. Visits were arranged in line with government guidance, and facilities were under construction to accommodate visits during winter months.

The service supported people to maintain their wellbeing through activities and facilitated contact with family and friends. Staff supported social distancing arrangements and good testing systems were in place for both people and staff. Appropriate measures were implemented when people were admitted to ensure the safety of new arrivals and existing residents. Staff wore PPE according to government guidance, with designated areas established for putting on and removing protective equipment.
